Carbotech's high-technology brake compounds work great, have excellent heat tolerance, and are easy on rotors.
Bobcat is Carbotech's street compound, with outstanding cold braking performance, and consistent friction coefficient over its entire heat range, up to 900 degrees F. Suitable for street and autocross use.
AX6 is a street/track compound, good for track day use but also acceptable for everyday duty. Very high fade resistance and consistent performance over a wide 250 F to 1250 F temperature range. Great for track day use on street or R-compound tires -- you can drive to and from the track using these pads, and run all day at the track, without having to change pads. These will have higher noise and dust levels than street pads, though.
XP8 is a full-on race compound, able to withstand temps from 250F up to 1350 F. It is extremely fade resistant, with high initial bite and high coefficient of friction. Great for advanced/expert high performance driving school/track day use with R-compound tires. Can be driven to and from the track if necessary. Not recommend as a daily use pad due to high levels of noise and dust.
